Dawn Cargiulo
​Berman

Owner & Artistic Director

Dawn studied at the University of the Arts and the Laban Centre for Dance and Movement in London, England, where she received a BA with Honors in Dance Theatre.

She began her professional dance career with Transitions Dance Company, a London based collaborative group where she performed and taught throughout Europe, Japan, and Taiwan. Dawn joined internationally acclaimed MOMIX Dance Company, performing throughout the US and Europe, as well as teaching master classes at the university level. Additionally, she performed with NYC-based companies Neo Labos, Shoestring, and Isadora Dance Legacy and also collaborated with Vienna-based Blue Moon Productions performing in Vienna, Belgium, and NYC.

Dawn created and directed the dance program at Mainland Regional High School in Linwood, NJ, for two years and then went on to direct the dance program at Middlesex Vocational and Technical High School. During this time Dawn continued her performance work with Philadelphia-based Junk Dance Company and Scrap Performance Group, creating and performing dance works throughout the Philadelphia area, including the Philadelphia Fringe Festivals and Princeton Arts Council galas. Since 2009, when Dawn and her family moved to Pennington, she has repeatedly collaborated with The Hopewell Valley Arts Council, The Princeton Ballet School, Rider University, and The Lawrenceville School.

Dawn has served on The Friends of the Pennington Public Library for 10 years, and was a board member of the Hopewell Valley Arts Council from 2016 - 2021. Dawn has 4 children in the Hopewell Valley School system and has been a proud resident of Hopewell Valley for 15 years.

Gabriella Cunha
Office Manager & Ballet Instructor

Gabriella Cunha holds a BFA in Dance Education with a specialization in Ballet Performance and a minor in Musical Theater from University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA, where she was acknowledged with an Excellence In Tutoring Award and an Outstanding Student Teaching Award. She went on to enjoy dancing professionally with contemporary ballet companies and engaging in freelance projects in the tristate area.

During this time, Gabriella received pedagogical mentorship from Mary Pat Robertson - decades-long director of Princeton Ballet School - and taught ballet, lyrical, modern, and beginning jazz and acro at many studios including Princeton Ballet School, Mill Ballet School, The Rock School, Studio 180, and Penn Ballet at the University of Pennsylvania.

In addition, Gabriella has a 200-hour certification in Prana Yoga from Princeton Center for Yoga and Health, and Reiki I and II practitioner certifications. Gabriella currently practices Naturopathic Medicine in Washington state, teaches ballet at the Sylvia Joyce Wanner School of Port Angeles City Ballet, and remotely supports The Pennington Studio's administration, performances, and curriculum development. Her supplementary interests lie in music, alternative somatic modalities, and multidisciplinary collaboration – all of which inform her work as an artist, educator, and healer.
Caitlyn was born and raised in New Jersey. She received her pre-professional training at The Rock School for Dance Education. Upon graduation, she joined Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s Graduate Program where she performed roles in classical ballets, rehearsed Serenade with Jerry Kumery from the Balanchine Trust, and was selected for a contemporary work by Staycee Pearl. 

Caitlyn began her professional career with Columbia Classical Ballet under the direction of Brooklyn Mack where she performed in classical and neoclassical ballets such as La Bayadere, Bolero, and The Nutcracker, as well as original works by Simone Cuttino and Terrence Henderson. She also had the opportunity to perform as a guest artist with The Charleston Ballet, performing soloist roles in Dracula. Caitlyn is currently a professional dancer with Roxey Ballet Company in Lambertville, NJ.

Caitlyn is a Mat and Reformer Pilates instructor trained through Balanced Body. She is excited to join The Pennington Studio staff this year teaching ballet and lyrical classes.

Samantha Jeanne

Preschool, Kindergarten Dance, Jazz, & Private Ballroom  Instructor

Born to be in the spotlight, Samantha fell in love with performing at a very early age. At the age of 5, she started taking gymnastics and dance classes, quickly transitioning into Competitive Artistic and Rhythmic Gymnastics.  Always wanting more, Samantha studied a variety of dance styles throughout her adolescent and adult life including, Ballet, Jazz, Modern/Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Latin, Ballroom and Tap.  As a former All-Star and Collegiate Cheerleader and Dance Team member (Go FGCU!), she loves being a part of a team and building strong connections with her community.  

After college, Samantha spent time teaching and spearheading the dance program at a performing arts center in her home state of Delaware.  There, she created dance shows and award-winning competition pieces, choreographed local musicals productions and shared her knowledge coaching students who were focusing on a career in the Arts.

Samantha started her professional ballroom career with Fred Astaire in the summer of 2013 and has earned multiple Top Female Teacher, Top Female Customer Service, and Top Specialist Awards for the New Jersey Region. She’s traveled the country and has been a top finalist in many regional and national competitions. Samantha has also explored other aspects of the performing arts- acting/dancing on stage, in films and on tv.  As a side project, she also developed a Young Dancers ballroom program for studios- combining her love of dance with her love of teaching children!

Taylor Sambola-Broad

Ballet Instructor

Taylor Sambola-Broad is a professional ballet dancer, certified Pilates instructor, and experienced dance educator with a distinguished background in performance and training. With certifications in the ABT National Training Curriculum (Prep-Level 7 + Partnering) and Power Pilates (Mat & Reformer), Taylor brings a comprehensive and technical approach to dance instruction. 

Her teaching experience includes serving as faculty for Orlando Ballet and Sarasota Ballet, where she has taught ballet, pointe, variations, and Pilates in both summer programs and year-round training. She has also worked extensively in outreach programs, bringing ballet education to diverse student populations. As a guest masterclass instructor, Taylor has taught at esteemed schools such as Queensbury Theatre, Brevard Ballet Academy, Skyra Studios, and LA Dance Academy. Additionally, she has contributed to The American Dance Competition (ADC) as a regional ballet teacher and social media director. 

Taylor’s performance career includes work as a soloist and corps de ballet dancer with Orlando Ballet, Sarasota Ballet, and New Orleans Ballet Theatre, performing in renowned ballets by Balanchine, MacMillan, Robbins, Tharp, Morris, and Ashton. Her versatility extends to film, modeling, and commercial work, including appearances in Netflix’s Tall Girl 2, Amazon Prime’s Étoile, and publications such as Pointe Magazine and Dance Spirit.

Trained at Houston Ballet, ABT JKO School, Miami City Ballet, SAB, and The Rock School, Taylor’s approach to teaching emphasizes proper technique, injury prevention, and artistic expression, equipping dancers with both physical strength and refined artistry. Her expertise in Pilates-based conditioning ensures her students develop core stability, flexibility, and injury resilience, making her a sought-after instructor for pre-professional and professional dancers alike. ​

Lily Mollicone

Contemporary Instructor

Lily Mollicone (she/they) is a performer, choreographer, and educator based in New Jersey. She received her BFA in Dance Performance at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University in 2025, and continues to pursue her Masters in Dance Education through Rutgers’ Graduate School of Education. Lily spent her formative years as a senior company apprentice at Providence Ballet Theatre in Providence, Rhode Island under the direction of Eva Marie Pacheco, and her Providence roots led her to participating in three residencies with Choreography Project, under the direction of Kristy DuBois. At Rutgers, she has performed in works by José Limón, Netta Yerushalmy, Pam Tanowitz, and John Evans, and studied under Roderick George and Brad Beakes, among others. Lily is also a trained musician and actor and utilizes those interdisciplinary skills in both dance and theater spaces.

Kendra Shoffstall

Tap Instructor
Kendra Shoffstall is a recent graduate from Seton Hill University where she obtained her Bachelors of Art degree in Psychology and Pre-Dance/Movement Therapy. She is from Somerset, PA where she grew up dancing competitively. She attended and graduated from Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School where she also earned her Associate’s Degree in Dance and Dance Education. She is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, modern, hip hop, musical theatre, heels, ballroom, and Bollywood. She also has singing, acting, and modeling experience. She has choreographed for college level productions at her undergraduate university. She has performed in PBT Open Air Event, The Fulfillment Project, NACHMO, and other collegiate dance productions. Her awards include being an inductee of the National Dance Honor Society at the high school and college level, and the Vice President of the Seton Hill University Student Dance Organization for 3 years. Kendra is attending Rider University to pursue a career as a Dance/Movement Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor. She hopes that teaching will help her stay connected to the dance world and inspire the next generation of dancers.

Marissa Stellato

Jazz Instructor

Marissa is a passionate and versatile dancer, choreographer, and teacher. A 2024 cum laude graduate of Rider University with a B.A. in Dance Performance and a Minor in English Writing, she thrives in styles ranging from ballet and jazz to hip-hop, tap, contemporary, and theatre dance. Raised in the Lower Hudson Valley, Marissa has been immersed in the performing arts from a young age, finding joy and expression in movement.


She has choreographed six mainstage works, including her senior capstone Timeline, and musicals such as The Drowsy Chaperone and Little Shop of Horrors. In 2023, she was invited to perform at the Meeting of European Theatre Academies in Florence, Italy. Marissa brings infectious enthusiasm and creativity to every class, inspiring dancers to discover their own rhythm and freedom through movement.

Arcadian Broad

Studio Choreographer/ Instructor

Arcadian Broad is a professional dancer, choreographer, musician, and actor with an extensive performance and teaching background. Certified in the ABT National Training Curriculum (Prep-Level 7 + Partnering), he has taught at prestigious institutions including Orlando Ballet and Sarasota Ballet, where he serves as a faculty member specializing in contemporary, ballet, and choreography. 

Arcadian has also been a faculty member for the American Dance Competition (ADC), co-directing regional tours and teaching ballet and variations. He frequently guest teaches masterclasses in ballet and contemporary at schools such as Brevard Ballet Academy, Art of Movement (AOM), and New Dimensions Dance Academy. 

With a background in training at Orlando Ballet School and The Juilliard School, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his instruction. His teaching extends beyond the studio to summer intensives and masterclasses at institutions including New Orleans Ballet Theatre, Cincinnati Ballet, Danceworks Chicago, and more.

As a choreographer, Arcadian has received recognition for his choreography, including Best Choreography at Youth America Grand Prix. His artistic expertise and dedication to dance education continue to inspire and shape dancers of all levels. ​

Joey Schollenberger

Competition Choreographer

Joey grew up on the Jersey Shore and began his dance journey at the age of ten years old. After graduating from high school he made the move to Los Angeles, California where he auditioned and trained professionally. Since returning to the East Coast, Joey has begun working for a dance competition, judging for a pageant and talent competition, while choreographing for studios in New Jersey and New York. Throughout the past couple of years, his choreography has continued to be recognized for its artistry and emotional execution. 

Joey recently graduated from Rutgers University with his Masters in Social Work. Post-grad he is working with inpatient youth at a hospital. He aspires to continue to work towards becoming a clinical therapist while teaching and choreographing.

Joey is devoted to providing a positive dance education to help dancers build confidence and achieve their goals. He can’t wait to share his artistry with The Pennington Studio!
